I once had a student that was confined to a wheel chair (he played violin). During a rehearsal he became frustrated at the cellists because they didn’t know their part. During a pause he said he could play it better than them. The cello section accepted his bet. He rolled across the room, picked up a cello and held it like a guitar. Then proceeded to play their part perfectly.
