1. Overall information
    1. The website is being designed as a place where educators can open free education blogs. Once educators open blogs, they will have the opportunity to create professional portfolios that will be associated with their accounts. My hope is for teachers to then contribute to a common educational environment of support and open discussion.
    2. Purpose of pictures
      1. All of the pictures included, are either pictures for the general use of the website, or are utilized in the example blog and portfolio (CannonEducation). Both serve the purpose of demonstrating how teachers can use the site and community features.

      1. Task 1 – For use in Sample Portfolio (CannonEducation)
        1. Original
          1. Purpose – Professional head shot that is utilized on the website for a portfolio picture.
          2. Target – Readers that wish to view my professional portfolioo
          3. Process – Imported from Canon T6I – Plug in camera and drag the file off to the desired folder then rename

          1. Purpose– Professional head shot that is utilized on the website for a portfolio picture.
          2. Target – Readers that wish to view my professional portfolio
          3. Process – Open picture with Microsoft Paint 3d – Click the canvas button and resize. Then click save as and title and name as a .jpeg.

    1. Purpose– Professional head shot that is utilized on the website for a portfolio picture.

    3. Process – Take resized picture, open in Microsoft paint 3d. Crop out extra background to focus the viewing aspect on the target (me). Then click save as and title and name as a .jpeg.

      1. Purpose – This picture is a scanned document that is utilized by students to help reinforce note names. This example is student work.
      2. Target – Teachers that are looking for creative ways to reinforce note recognition and student investment.
      3. Process – Use scanner to email the jpeg to me. Download and rename the picture.

        1. Purpose – This design that was made in paint will be utilized for the website logo.
        2. Target – Anyone who visits modernteacher.us.
        3. Process – The picture was made using layering in adobe fireworks. Each part of the design is an individual layer that is stacked to create a complex image.

          1. Purpose – The purpose of this image is to be a place holder image on the signup page. It will act to inspire communication in Danielson Domain 4.
          2. Target – Users of the site will see this image next to the sign up link on the website.
          3. Process – visit Canva and do a free stock image search, download the image and rename to outside.jpeg
