Hello Readers,

I hope that this post finds you well in body and mind. As a music teacher I love finding new exciting musical ways to teach our students. I often spend my nights perusing YouTube for fun parodies (or making my own) that accomplish this specific task. Once in a great while I find a song that is way too awesome to not share with my teaching peers. So, without further avail, I present to you Word Crimes! This Weird Al parody takes the melody of blurred lines and combines it with common grammatical errors. I believe that it could be used to teach some of our students about the importance of grammar while still making it fun and engaging. Enjoy the video and the rest of your summer vacation.
